Problem with fleshing blades

    I have had problems with blades from McKanzie shaving blades not being sharp, or not holding their edge. Has anyone else had a problem this season? What other companys have you tried besides Research and H&H? Been screwed around by both them companys also.

    Learning to keep them sharp takes a little practice . Check out some of the video`s and courses out there . ;)

    I mean im getting them brand new and the not staying sharp any longer then one elk hide

    Do you use steels and touch it up throughout the process? I'm fairly new to using a fleshing machine and purchased a blade from McKenzie, if it seems dull after a while, I just touch it up, and it is good to go.
