Masters Blend

    When injecting turkey legs with Masters Blend do you need to inject with anything else? Also what color do you use for painting the legs.

    Nothing else needed but the Masters Blend when using Masters Blend.
    I paint turkey legs with Hazel Creek Leg #2
    Chocolate Brown
    Beak Yellow

    These paints are made by Wildlife Colors
    Breakthrough Issue 81 has a great piece on how to paint turkey legs by Cally Morris
    If its still available I would encourage you to get it. Some other good articles in that issue, also.

    Taxidermy Insider covers leg injection with Master's Blend as does Harry Whitehead's full strut turkey DVD from Taxidermy Training Unlimited.

    Taxidermy Insider also covers painting the legs real well.
