Can anyone tell me weather or not a Reptile Heating Pad will be safe to use on a Blue Sterilite plastic container? If it is safe would you recomend putting it on the side, or on the bottom of the container. Thanks for your time.

Would not melt plastic as long as it is working properly. If you set the container on top of the pad it will warm just the bottom. Do not put the pad *in* the enclosure. They will eat it and chew through the wiring. Be aware that this only heats the very bottom of the container. It does very poorly in radiating any heat up through the container. It is made for reptiles to make direct contact with it and absorb heat that way.
