Need help on necking for ducks

    I'm kinda new at this but I skint three ducks. A mallard drake, a pintail drake and a green wing teal. I forgot to measure the necks on them. So if anyone can tell me the right length for those 3 I'd greatly appreciate it !

    "med. mallard 1" x 6 1/2", large mallard 1" x 6 3/4" Pintail 3/4" x 4",
    GW teal 1/2" x 4"

    Did you mistype that pintail measurement? I don't have any of my measurement sheets available (packed away... I just moved), but I'm thinkin 7" on a Pintail drake would be about right.

    The last few pintails I did the necks were 6.5 of 6.75 inches in length. I haven't seen one shorter than 6 inches yet.

    Mallard 7", Pintail 7 1/2", GW Teal 4" Necking material diameter Mallard 5/8" with 1/4" trachea, Pintail 1/2" with 1/4" trachea, GW Teal, 3/8" with 1/4" trachea.
