Just finished up this skin mount 3lb+ White Crappie from Mississippi...

 

My eight fish (ever) to paint. I did this for a buddy. I'm not in the biz....I just do this for fun, to learn, compete, and for the pure love of it! I used the reference pic provided by my friend, extensively. This fish had a really fleshy colored mouth/gill, and really dark pec fins and caudal fin. Go easy on me.....I'm trying!

 

Per customer request this fish pumpkinseed hybrid is a combination of these two. And had to follow the belly pattern of a frozen fish. Very challenging to do I found without just being to replicate a certain one. No Live Photo’s exsisted of the actual fish. He’s very happy and that’s what
matters.
