Hi everyone, I’m in need of help. Looking for ideas/experience concerning eyelash replacement for an Elk mount. Inovative, proven or potential ideas are all appreciated. This bull is about a week into his drying phase and has literally five lashes total between both eyes. Thought I’d cut into the folicles till I went back to my intake pics, nope. Now I could leave it as is, but he looks naked and as George and others have pointed out over and over “he will carry my name” long after the customer pics him up. Looking for ideas. Rehydrate and super glue individual hairs? Modify and install fake eyelashes? Any ideas?
Thanks Tanglewood. Would you suggest tattering/trimming with a small pair of scissors so they look worn? Or maybe melt with a lighter?
I would just place them there and do what ever I could to make them look real. I don't think the melting with a lighter would work.
