Crappie too dark

    Can this fish be lightened to look more silvery and or brighter without stripping fish and starting over. Thanks for any suggestions

    Cory Keep an eye on quality!

    What 3 bears said. And layering the silver pearl over tipped scales. Then layering the "crappie" color over that.

  6. Skip the silver, reason is its going to turn grey. HOld your airbrush way back and mist white pearl on it. then a touch of gold pearl. Then set it with matte finish, and white it again, then the silver pearl but keep this at a longer distance and mist, it should dry as soon as it hits the fish.. This will help with the color depth you are wanting.

    Other than scale tipping I use Liftone's lacquer Chrome pearlescent when I want a bright chromish silver.
