Well, you won't have to hire one next year probably anyway, but a good CPA is worth their weight in gold Cecil. Good CPA's don't make mistakes as the software doesn't allow them. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unless your wife is a CPA you'e probably missing out on some write-offs due to the ever changing tax laws and different ways to approach things depending on your unique tax situation. That's why places like H&R Block suck b/c they hire a bunch of part-timers to cover the tax season and they don't do squat to maximize your return b/c they don't know all the tax laws. I use to do my taxes myself early on and it's simply not worth my time. I'm LLC'd so my taxes are probably more involved than yours and the filing paperwork alone is over a half inch thick. I tally everything but she still has to go through it all. She charges me around $250 and signs off on the paperwork and if I'm ever audited she is responsible to explain things, not me. Plus, that $250 is deductible too! :)

Not worried about it Marty. We use Turbo Tax and it seems to work just fine. My brother is an accountant by training so if we have any questions... Not really a lot to doing taxidermy and selling frozen fish retail. It's really not that complicated IMHO. But I could very well be wrong.

Will do but I will be in the area at least a week earlier. Will be fishing Quabbin, Wachusett, South Pond (Quacumquasit Pond) near Brookfield and Shabokin at Devens. Last five days of my vacation will be with Rick. No wife tagging along this time. She'll be in Germany with students.

South Pond has some big calico bass (Black Crappies) and I did well there in the past fishing at night with a lantern. Locals don't seem to know night fishing for calico bass is very effective.

Stop over before Mass will be NYS Pepacton Reservoir.

Cory Foth from Peabody, KS could show you a thing or two. I spent some time with him and it changed my molding and casting game.

No doubt Cory could but I'm already booked with Rick and like I said I will already be out there fishing.

Fried lobster tails at the Weathervane are good enough to justify the trip to Hew Hampshire. Everything else is just frosting on the cake.
