Mounting a pedestal form on a mounting stand?

Discussion in 'Deer and Gameheads' started by Libitina, Apr 6, 2018.

  1. I've got a floor pedestal mount to work on and was wondering what other people do for ways to attach the pedestal form to the mounting stand? Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Nikki

4x4 block. Drill a hole all the way through the size of your all thread. Secure your nut. Then mount the block to your stand.

Does your manikin have all thread pre-installed? If not you will need to foam a mounting block into the back of your manikin.. Very easy to do..

  5. Thank you all for the advice! I ended up mounting the pedestal today and didn't end up needing the mounting stand at all, but I will definitely be using all of this information for the next one I have planned in a few weeks, I'll need to do the wood block like the picture that was posted. Very helpful!! Thank you again!

I just drilled a hole in the plate on the stand and bolt it on using the rods.
