freezer clean out - all tanned skins must go

Discussion in 'For Sale' started by KatieC, Apr 12, 2018.

  1. PLEASE READ INFO/DISCLAIMER:

All skins are wet tanned and frozen, tannery is listed if known. Many with matching mannikins if desired, mannikins may need some alternation to fit. Neck measurements are the “B” measurement or at the atlas. MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE but should be close. Life size skins will probably be stretched lengthwise from tanning and the girth will increase and length decrease when you stretch them back. Please check measurements and condition when you receive the item and let me know RIGHT AWAY if there are any problems so we can work out a partial refund or return. Returns must be shipped fully frozen and packed properly with insulation. Items labeled “prep done” have detail areas thinned, ear cartilage removed, and will need ear liners.

I'm selling all my stock whitetail capes and my entire personal collection of hides due to severe reactions I'm having to chemicals in the tanned skins, so am not able to thaw things out for photos or to double check old measurements. I have listed what I have written in my records, but if something isn't right, I will work with you to fix the problem and do a partial refund or return. Items may have bullet holes or need the usual small repairs common to any skin so please expect those. I have tried to keep prices reasonable and mannikins are listed at about half price. Thanks!

Shipping is additional. I'll ship SpeeDee whenever possible. Otherwise I use UPS for frozen shipments. I'll ship USPS at your own risk. Please do not ask for shipping quotes unless you are going to buy the item! Shipping is not cheap, especially for large items. I can cut forms for shipping. Hides will ship with insulation on the Monday of a non holiday week. If I get swamped with purchases, it might take me a few Mondays to get everything shipped out.

Please email info@diamonddusttaxidermy.com if interested or if you have any questions. I work full time but will get back to you as soon as I can.

  6. Hi Katie:
I am interested in one of your white Tail Capes Can you call me ? Terry 208-347-4567
    Thanks I appreciate it.

  7. Bump. I had to order a bunch more shipping supplies but I think I'm all set now. Please read the info, please email if interested. If you comment or message me here, I'll likely miss it. Please do not ask for shipping quotes unless you're going to buy the item. Thanks!

Elk DD1125 is ready to ship, packed for a quote and then the guy asked what size the cape was! Apparently he was looking for a bigger cape. I have "competition quality" written on the tag for that cape so it should be nice. Comes with free eyes and ear liners. Would like to get the box out of here if someone is looking for a very nice smaller elk cape with shorter hair, prepped and ready to mount. Form is cut for shipping.
