Best mammal taxidermist

Yep.. No way to begin to list them all.... They go basically unknown because they stay out of the spotlight so to speak.. They never compete and never will.. If they did it would be a whole new ball game and an even longer list of "the greatest"....

 

I would say Brian Hendricks and the wildlife artist, with his wrapped bodies are among the best in the world!!!

 

I would definitely put Amy Carter in there she does some really nice work

 

I remember a few years back Amy did a baby fox I think that was really awesome I'm sure some of y'all have seen pis of it

 

she does beautiful flawless work

 

All said, visit taxidermist's shops and when you find the one that has the most realistic mounts at a price you can live with and they have a willingness to listen to your needs and do what ever it takes to achieve it, you have found the best mammal taxidermist.

 

Like someone else stated, I definitely think there are many amazing taxidermists outside of the Taxidermy.net and competitions that many of us may never know about. Many of the insanely talented are focusing their talents on knowledge instead of seeking fame. Every now and then I’ll stumble upon one of these artists and be like..”who are you and where did you come from??” No one is “best” at everything and methods are always evolving so it’s hard to hold that title for long. Thanks for bringing my name into the mix but I’m far from the best.

There isn't one "best", but quite a few exceptional ones.

 

Ken Walker, Rick Carter, anyone who can make every single part from scratch and make you doubt that it's a mount.

Don’t forget about Bryan Hendricks, he does some amazing work, and is a pretty dang good sculpter as well
