Best home tan

    tanning a marten to mount. which is the best home tan to use?
    I have used Krowtan before with fair results.
    any other suggestions? Dan

    I've had best results with krowtan on fox and Bobcats never could get other tans to work good but I'm sure they do i all ways had a hard time with the tail and didn't like splitting them all the way out

    I would use Tru Bond. Or, Pro-1 or Liqua tan or EZ 100 or Lutan F or Paratan or McKenzie tan or Headquarters tans.

    My point is that they all work well if the directions are followed. I have used some of these and got the same results from each I have used.

    That about sums it up. What is the best tan is about as subjective as asking who the best looking chick in in the Miss Universe contest. Everyone has their favorite. I have tried many but my favorite it EZ-100 these days.

    I use paratan on everything, get a good tan with no problems!

    Dry preservative on small mammals is my "tan" of choice.
