we made an elk foot mold out of fiberglass. using vaseline as a mold release, tried silconne spray mold release also, my casts of 2 part foam keeps getting stuck in the mold. they're getting ruined trying to get them out. Help, what's wrong?

Use wood finishing wax (minwax) as the mold release. Let it set for a few minutes before pouring in the foam.

Are there 'undercuts' that are hanging up the removal? Also agree that 'waxing' is the way to go.

Cory Keep an eye on quality!

It does sound like you have "keys" that are keeping the mold from coming apart freely.
