Hi everyone I’m new here and have a question I have a hide that’s been frozen for quite awhile or so it appears should I soak it in a relaxer before pickling or do it at the same time ? The hide was just rolled and frozen it is a Fox and still needs fleshed but seems freeze dried and I’m unsure if it’ll take salt. Thanks for the advice

  2. You may have a lost cause . Fox dont do well anyway . But you can thaw it in salt water and Please split the tail all the way . You ears will slip so be very easy on turning them . Ive had them like that before it can be done just be cool and take your time . SALT as you go .
