Rehydration suggestion

    I have some hides that I am finally starting to find the time to start mounting. Due to deployments and a PCS move, I had the hides dry tanned vice wet tanned. The question I have is after rehydrating and taking the measurements, how long can you keep the hides in the refrigerator, while waiting on a form to come in? Or is a better option to freeze it after taking the measurements and just re-thaw it after the form comes in and you are ready to mount?

    Freeze them until the form comes and you are ready to mount.

    X2! Days often turn into weeks when something is setting in the fridge.

    Hi, i would freeze it just to be safe.

    Fold it skin to skin, hair out and seal it in a garbage bag and put it into the freezer.
