Can't say I have ever had bugs chew into hard cured antler when there was something better on the skull. Were those antlers in velvet or in some way softer than normal?

  3. No velvet, but the moose hasn’t been rubbed of more than a week or so. Sometimeme the tops stay a bit soft for awhile. That’s kind of what I fighured, But damn there were 3 grizzly bears, and two my goats in there. Plenty too eat. Damn lazy bugs.
I had some caribou that had the velvet peeled off and were soft. They didn’t chew on them.
