I used to freeze my mammals wrapped in paper towels and then bagged, but I’ve heard that’s not ideal and have started just bagging them. What is best to prevent slippage and freezer burn to keep pelts in best condition?

It’s way better to skin them before freezing. Either way, keep them in an airtight plastic bag. If there is a lot of blood, roll them in a towel before bagging.
