Dry Preservative Question

    Absolutely not. There are several different combinations of ingredients in dry preservative. Most have a major ingredient of talc, used to dry the skin, then there is borax, to repel insects, and alum, which acts as an astringent. Some have naptha (smells like mothballs) others have black pepper (as an insect repellent).
