    First pheasant I have done in at least four years. His plumage was not the greatest (and neither is my skill as a taxidermist) so I did what I could with him.

    This is a nerve-racking bird to find out that horribly freezer burnt skin will tear, rip and tear some more. I probably injected the head, feet and wrists of this bird a half dozen times before I felt comfortable skinning it out.
