That is a pheasant. It is mounted but I need to do the finish work on it soon, when I get a chance.
Ohhhhhhh......... It looks a whole lot bigger then it is. and that why I was thinking turkey.
I figured that out when I went back to look at the picture. He does have some spurs on him. I think I've killed turkeys with smaller spurs

Something we don't see much in FL and I'm glad LOL. These shot up grouse will tell on you in a heartbeat.
