Cool, I will tag you on stuff to get more followers for you. I am marshghostCA.
I just started doing bird this year for people and I got the same problem as you brooke I got a website, fb, and Instagram and didnt get a single mount from any of them. All the mounts I got were from my buddy's club and friends. Guess I should be happy tho with the 15 I got tho if you only got 11 and your birds are gorgeous.
A couple of recent birds on the bench.
Incredible hoody, awesome eyeset!
Latest project. Preserve bird as you can tell by the groomed wing tips. Replacement tail.
Great ducks and pheasant, also like the habitat for the rooster.
Woodie hen, still some preening to do. My fifth bird.
great job on the hen mallard
very nice job on the redhead
I'm thinking that sea ducks get doubled and tripled tappped, more than any other species, lot of repairs.
Great work ..... so many of you are great Taxidermists on this forum that I haven't felt mine are worthy of posting but I've decided to go ahead and post a few
. I was unable to do any taxidermy work for about 3 yrs in part due to having Carpal Tunnel surgery on both hands and then moving .
Now that we're somewhat settled , this yr I've finally been able to set up my shop and start mounting birds again . After 3 yrs of not doing any kind of taxidermy , its amazing how much of the little things I forgot , but with each problem I'm remembering what I need to do to fix it ... One thing I didn't bring with me when I moved was my tumbler and what a mistake that was , that alone would solve a few of my problems .... Getting better with each bird but still not were I wanna be .... So here's a few I've been working on , not great , but not horrible ...not completely finished ....
Love the whiffling snows!
