Whats A Good Bactericide To Use In Your Rehydrating Or Pickling Solutions

    Safety acid sold by most supply houses. It will bring down the pH as low as you want it to go.

    I just use the small bottle of concentrated lysol, another one is PD 64 by Spartan chemicals, although I haven't purchased that in awhile

    The question perplexes me some, but I use nothing for bactericide other than acid. Straight water to rehydrate a salted skin/cape and the acid pickle is low enough ph to be inhospitable to bacteria.

    I have used Basacryl NBKU in rehydrating solutions, not needed in pickling solution though.
