In Search Of... Small Hog Shoulder Form..

    Got a call from a guy that wants to have his sons first hog mounted. He says the measurements are 4.5" eye to nose and 19" neck measurement. I can't find anything in any supply book that small.
    Any suggestions??

    Jonas Supply has some javelina forms close to that size. Might be a starting point, but you might be better off just ordering the smallest boar form you can and altering it.

    I wasn't sure if the javelina forms were anatomically correct or not. Even then the smallest eye to nose was 6.5"

    I don’t think I would trust what someone else claimed the eye to nose measurement is. Wait and measure the hog yourself. I can’t imagine a feral hog with a 4.5” eye to nose that would have a 19” neck. He likely didn’t measure correctly.

    Jonas/Van Dykes have some javelina forms that are 5 1/4", and no it wouldn't be anatomically correct... just a starting point.
