I am married and have two children. 13 and 19 I am the Manager/Superintendent of the Waste Water Treatment plant where I live. Been here for going on 21 years. I dabbled in taxidermy when i was 14, i did two mache filled fish and two Grouse. I am an AVID outdoorsman and I love my FALL Fishing on Lake Superior Rivers. As a matter of fact, here is a story of my DAD who is 85 years old and Shot his biggest Buck of his lifetime.. and its NOT BIG but its HIS biggest. I sent it to Bill Winke and he published it on his website. if you want to read it , the link it below. Gives a little insight as to my passion.. I still get tears of happiness when i read it. lol http://www.midwestwhitetail.com/best-deer-hunting-story-180355-2/ Anyways, I want to say THANKS, for this SITE and all of the YEARS of KNOWLEDGE that have been contributed. I have been on here for reading and reading and reading. I have put a good 100 hours in over the last 3 weeks. I come on here learn something NEW everytime. I search for things and find new things.. Last Night I learned all about COLD WAX.. lol I havent even started any taxidermy yet. I'm gonna start by doing a fish, probably a Repro so I can wipe it clean and practice my painting.. PERCH. And lord knows, if anyone has any tips for a beginner, feel free to throw them my way. I was thinking to myself as i was reading posts from 10 years ago, Wouldnt it be neat, to hear about or see how the NEW GUY/GAL from 10 years ago has developed.. How much He or She has improved. But Anyway, Just wanted to say HI and THANKS! Brad from Michigan.
