Hello, I'm rather new to the community here. I searched through a few of the forums but didn't find too many answers. I have a mount I did a year ago that I'm not exactly proud of. I was going to dismount it to make the pelt a wallhanger (I've done it before with pelts so that's not a problem for me) but then I remembered I used apoxie sculpt on his nose. It's a rather thick layer, which I'm not fond of. I wanted to remove it to either fix up the muzzle or just completely take out the form. Won't be posting pictures because it looks less than pleasing. What is the best way to attempt to remove the apoxie sculpt?

If you rehydrate the skin you should be able to pull the skin away from it.

As GWebb said, I would rehydrate the hide and pull it away from the apoxie, but be careful as rehydrating the skin won’t likely release the bond of the apoxie sculpt from the skin. You may need a scalpel to help separate the nose hide from the apoxie so as not to tear the skin.
