Bison Skull

    Anyone care to mention what they charge to do a clean and whiten job on a raw bison skull? I just need a base line to give a quote.

    I quoted him $300, it is now sitting in my shop. I knew I should have asked for more. Oh well.

    lol. And actually in my area I’m about in the middle on what some people charge. Mine used to be 300 then I raised it to 350. Just because removing the horns etc. is a smelly process and I figured I should get paid better for it LOL .

    BearBonz, How do you remove the horns? If you don't mind sharing?

    $450 without repo horns, Cooked off, bleached and sealed. And even at that worth every penny.
     
  8. i am only getting 215 and they look like perfection when done. guess i am really cheap. that does not include the lower jaw

    Without repro horns? Does that mean you destroy the horns that were on it with boiling it clean? Or do you get the horns off and keep them with the head and if they want repros it is more?
