Hey everyone! I'm trying to learn as much as I can regarding the use of dermestid beetles for skull cleaning. My question is how long does it take for the beetles to clean an average sized deer skull? I'm assuming the larger the beetle colony the quicker it gets cleaned ( common sense)?? If someone was just starting off with a beetle colony, with beetles in multiple stages of life, what could I expect for AVERAGE time frame? Thanks!
