#1 Why is it 90% of the deer capes offered here are not short Y-CUTS, only takes a minute or two longer and if you don't do it that way cut it when you get it. Not all capes are butcher capes, that's the excuse I have heard. Most are cut long, the entire cape. So much easier to mount without all that stitching and it makes a nicer finished job. Yea I know you can stitch it up in 5 minutes and no one can till. If done properly it's a bit more than 5 minutes.
#2 If someone is selling something why not post pictures (EASIEST THING TO DO) They say they can TEXT pictures. Not everyone does the TEXT thing, I know some live on their phone and probably Text everything. Some don't text, I probably couldn't TEXT if I had to. Well if they can TEXT pictures why can't they post them. I know for a fact it would help their sales. Some are so quick to post it again, if they posted pictures maybe they wouldn't be still selling the same item week after week, month after month.
#3 If something is SOLD then why not post that it's SOLD instead of letting the post continue. Delete the wording and say it's SOLD,real hard people.

I bought I cape guy said was an easy fix, I threw it away as that neck was missing hair from being dragged if I were to fix it damage it would have lost 20% of length and diameter of neck. $125 buck down the F***ing drain. This so called stand up guy would not do a refund. AZZ hole.

Why do buyers respond to the post, rules say you don't, but buyers still do even after the seller has stated "PM me" or offered their phone number.......

Why do sellers not have a profile, no picture, no location. Why are they hiding?

Why do buyers post they are interested but do not have the means to pay?

Why do sellers promise to sell to you if the first responder doesn't come through, only to find out the next time you check in they have sold to someone else?

In the old days, your word was good enough because your name meant something.
You're name was your reputation. It was your honor. But then again, in the old days I used to knock on the door and ask if my friend could come out to play. I guess those days are gone.

I had a similar deal where I bought a couple capes on here from a guy advertised as being in good shape for a premium price. When I got them they were freezer burnt, tick infested, cut and shot up junk. He wouldn't make it right, so I posted on here my dissatisfaction. He retaliated by having all his buddies do a character assassination on me. I wonder how many other people he has ripped off on here. There really needs to be a banning policy for people that run scams like that.

I only buy capes from Dave at Western Wildlife Arts or Joe at East Coast Capes. Between the two of them I always find what i need. If I ever need a whole frozen mammal, I will only buy from two gentlemen on here and we all know who they are. The equipment and miscellaneous tools I have bought were purchased only from guys that had a profile and or website and have been here a long time. I won't take the chance on a good deal from anyone else.

THE WHOLE SITE HAS GONE DOWN HILL I THINK
I remember days with a hundred people on line at once, not any more.Maybe because Bill & George don't frequent here as much.
You email call or what ever a seller and your lucky they respond, WTF.
They post things for sale then don't get back to you when you respond.
I have posted several times with help needed and no one answers.
I need a wholesale turkey done, not one response. Needed some Freeze Dry work done and only after a smartass remark I made did I get a response. Just recently asked about a deer cape, all these guys with capes and one guy answered me, not what I wanted/needed but at least he answered me.
The best one was a guy said I think I can help you,
I emailed back, now no response.
    WTF
