Screenshot_20190307-221520.png I have done several antler repairs making molds out of dragon skin but I have a unique one to make a mold on and I need some suggestions. How would you go about molding the lower palmated tine? It is broke off at the main beam.

You make it so it comes off in pieces. The mold may need several break points that are bolted together.
The hard part is figuring where to put them.
The best way to build it is reverse molding.
Cover the rack with foil, clay, then figure out where to split it up, layering fiberglass resin , wax it then the other side, drill holes , take apart, brush a layer of silicone on, put the mold over it, pour in silicone, take apart, cut the mold, put back together then, cast it. It’s a timely project if you want to cast more than one . If not then use latex and build up the layer and make a mother mold etc etc.
