Please Help My Id This (top?) Jaw Bone

    I can’t figure out what animal this is from. I found it at Houston TX estate sale.

    Almost looks like bottom jaw, but I think I see nostrils.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    100% pig/wild boar

    Canines face up. Cut off lower jaw of a pig. The majority of the back of the jaw is missing.
     
  5. Based on the straightness and shape of the tusks I am guessing that this is the partial jaw of a collared peccary, which is closely related to pigs and boars.
