I have a guy wants me to mount a Jack for him. im from Wisconsin so ocean fish are something I never get. Would they be a lot different? can I just do a skin mount like I would do on a bass? or is it something that I don't want to get involved with. this one is not going to put me over the top and make me rich, so if they are a pain in the butt I will just say no. Any advice would be great Thanks

Not a fish to skin mount! There are many species of Jacks. Repo is the way to go

Order one from king sailfish mounts in Ft. Lauderdale FL. Most likely the skin will be too oily to use like a bluefish. You can order just the blank and paint it yourself.
