I've been searching the forums and google, but there are still a couple things I'm not clear on.

First, what is the live sculpting competition? It sounds interesting, but there doesn't seem to be any information on it at all.

Second, do you have to stay until Saturday if you enter a mount? Or can you leave Friday night?

Lyn, If you google " World Taxidermy Competition" you will find all the rules. Also you will find descriptions of all the categories in the show

You can also ask Kathy or Larry any questions to clarify things.

The live sculpting competition consist of sculptors who build an armature, using many bones from the animal being sculpted. Their finished models are used in making the molds to cast manikins. It's amazing to see. Hope you make it to the World...we won't be there this time...too many other things going on. Have fun!
