Hello, I am a sculpture student at University of Texas at Arlington studying alternative forms of preservation of animals. I am hoping to find local or in-state taxidermists who I could work with in learning about taxidermy and the process behind them. It would be immensely appreciated, and can provide compensation.

I know there are a number of schools located in or near the DFW area. I don't know any of them personally, but a quick Google search would at least get you some websites. As far as individual taxidermists, I again would recommend a Google search and sending out some emails or calling.

  3. I'm in Bryan/College Station. If you want you're more than welcome to come visit. I have done everything for wet preservation, articulation, skin mounts, and run dermestid beetle colonies.
