Spring time in Ohio means we've been seeing the odd Varied Carpet Beetles around the house. I have a couple mounts and antlers, almost all of which have been treated with pesticide except for a few older mounts. I've been doing daily checks for hair loss and killing every bug I come across, but I want to be sure I'm not missing anything. Are there any signs besides hair loss that could indicate infestation? Also, know any good pesticides that would be safe for the older mounts?
