   Hello! I am searching for taxidermists who tan snake skins. I have a bullsnake which measures 5 1/2 feet long. I want to have the hide tanned with the head still attached. I want some type of backing added to it too so I can hang it on my wall. Who do I pay to have this professionally done? Does anybody want to preserve this bullsnake for me? Any and all replies are greatly appreciated.

   There are several ways to tan the hides. I do a few each year. It would be better to have someone local do the tanning for you. I am in North Texas. I’m sure there are taxidermists in your area you can take it to.
