I have a mule deer cape with bondo in one ear. Is there any way I could go about removing it so I could use an earliner instead?

  2. Yes with a pair of needle nose pliers you can remove it in pieces.

you should be able to use a rounded blade and slowly peel it, go slow and wet the skin butter knife or grind a screwdriver

I've remounted deer with bondo earliner's before. just soak the ear, break up the earliner and remove it with some needle nose plier's. I've never had a problem getting them out.
