Apologies if this isn't the right forum subsection, but it seemed the most applicable.
It's my understanding that here in VA you can only purchase finished mounts of deer and elk: other species are off-limits. However, I'd really like to get a pronghorn shoulder mount. I'm traveling out of state soon, and basically what I'd like to know is (if my understanding of the law is right) if I purchase a pronghorn mount off ebay in another state, if I have the shipping address as my home in VA, is it no longer illegal since the purchase was made out-of-state? Or would I have to get it shipped to out of state and bring it home myself?

I wouldn't take someone's word on here. They may or may not be correct. Check with your state's wildlife resources agencies or game warden. If they say it is ok ask where to find it in writing then you will be safe.
