do fish have shoulders?
hold it normally so we can see the real size
Now .. do you keep that? Or release it?
That's Eric Hatajja from Milwaukee Harbor. He catches awesome fish for sure, but he has certainly mastered the elbow tuck and wrist push to make the fish look 3x bigger then they are.
I don't say that to denigrate Eric, or his guide service - Clearly they are beautiful fish, but by looking at that picture one would think that brown might have gone 20+ lbs when its probably little more than half that.
To the best of my knowledge Eric releases 100% of his brown catch.
Yeah, you can see where his fingers are, under the head, that the perspective is waaay off. Damn that is a pretty fish though.
that fish is big...look at the hook and the huge round nose. old warrior for sure.
Some huge fish in the Great Lakes .... Never see anything like that in CA except for maybe from lake Almanor once in a while but nothing like that ..
Over 20lbs. Click on the facebook link above the pic to see some huge recent browns.
Great looking fish.
I agree it is pushed into the camera to make it look bigger. I don't know why people have to do this on fish that are already impressive.
