I need better lighting and to learn to take better pictures! My last deer of the season...Two more shoulder mounts and 4 life size mounts and I’ll be ready for the next hunting season! D66AC8A1-C86D-4EC7-B3F4-5FB4A81AF971.jpeg

You wouldn’t happen to have a picture of it whole would you? Maybe even on the scale? 230# is well north of anything I’ve ever put on a certified scale.

Guaranteed there ain't a cougar in Idaho that's that big. I've weighed them for 45 years and nothing has hit close to 200# on a certified scale. Randy{MM}, I know that's what theytold you. How big was the neck? N-E? And why oh why would anybody cut up a cat that big? THAT'S WANTON WASTE!

mountain lion 1.PNG mountain lion 2.PNG hi frank, View attachment 207449 View attachment 207449 its a boon and crockett record cat he told me. the neck measurement is a little over 18 inches. here are some photo's of it. no forms were big enough so I spent a lot of time getting it large enough to fit.

A good cat yes. 230#? Not a chance!
130#-140# by the looks of it. Nothing against you MM as you did a beautiful job on the mount. I cannot fathom why people have to add so much weight to cats. It’s a 140# cat and that’s damn impressive. Why not just leave it at that.
