black muskrat.jpg Hope everyone is having a good week. I finished a Black phase muskrat recently and it cam out okay. I would just about rather work on flying squirrels than on muskrats. I had this guy 75% mounted and just needed to do the face work, and went to pull up the head skin and the entire right side of his lips ripped off. Me and muskrats don't work well together. They rip just looking at them. I used the real tail on him and i am pleased at how it came out. Much nicer detail than the foam ones. Have a great day.

I also finished up another spotted skunk. I am going to swap him and a skunk I did earlier doing the standard handstand pose as the base I think will fit better on this guy. Just one more bleached spotted skunk to go and i will be done with these stinkers. Have a good day.
