Hello all, Here are some key points to be aware of when shipping high value mounts Make sure the full value of your mount is covered with the carrier prior to shipping. Don't rely on standard carrier liability to pay you if your mount is lost or stolen. Opt for full value insurance in addition to carrier liability. ( I offer my clients $5,000.00 worth of coverage for just $35 added to the freight quote.) Use carriers with direct service when possible. These carriers have quick transit times which means less handling and lowers the risk of damage or theft. Label your crate as top load only, no stacking. Don't ship during the middle of the week. You don't want your client's trophy sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. Let me know if you have any freight shipping questions. I'm always available to help.
