I'm planning on working on some chickens soon, including a rooster of mine with a large wattle and comb. I've been looking for tutorials and information on freeze-drying turkey heads (assuming it's a similar process) and coming up with next to nothing. I have a freeze drying machine at home, so that part isn't a problem. What do you do to prepare the head for freeze drying? Like, how to put the eye in, which meaty bits need to be skinned out and which don't, and how to keep the comb/wattle looking plump and lifelike. Thank you!

Dig out brains set wire into skull with bondo... remove tongue fill eye sockets with packed pcs of paper toweling then oil base clay to set eyes in Inject comb wattles lobes with white glue thinned with water .. first though treat head with protex and make sure all blood is soaked out
