I have a 13' 5" Alligator that's been in the freezer since early 2015. It was tanned (head attached) for life-size. Its been wrapped up in plastic. The customer is long gone , so I want to try and sell it. Will it be any good to mount after being frozen that long ? Thanks Brian.

depends on the freezer - old school type probably yes - maybe a few burns on the outside. new style frost free doubt it as they suck the life out of everything that goes in it - in no time at all. only way to really tell is to take it out and check - but have a plan as you probably don't want to refreeze it again and again.

  6. I have had hides in the freezer for two years and they were fine however you will not know until you take it out and give it a try.
