Image is very important in promoting your business, take pictures in your showroom not your shop, and try and wear better pants lol people are wanting to get taxidermy done not get there oil changed .
I have my clients going nuts in my shop during winter.
Shorts and sandals, really makes them think roflmao
Let’s try and be decent to the poor boys shop and work.
It takes courage to post here as it’s not FB.
Plus it’s not to Kosher in taking Ricks posts and try to take over what he does for many.
They will either learn humility or like many whose drops out of existence on the net and stays on FB where you get banned for honesty.
Keep at it poor guys , it’ll get there
Trout have teeth
I had just got off work from my other job I just had time to change shirts be fore he showed up to pick it up are I would have had clean pants on and my shop is pretty much my show room sorry I don’t have a big shop with a show room in it like some people do
McKenzies main fish taxidermist phill said I done a great job on it he was very impressed it being only the second fish I ever done and the customers loved it
Yes sir they do but not what your showing as their very unnatural for that fish.
It would aid you to study live reference of fish to understand this concept.
Doing something that we think is right can easily misconstrued until you look and compare live to dead and shrunken heads
He’ll say anything as long as you buy their products. They only care about selling not being honest or hurtful to their clients cause you’ll go somewhere else to buy. It’s business that’s all.
Just kidding, I take most pictures in my shop and I hate laundry so I do most of my taxidermy with no pants .
COMMANDO !!! Hell ya
As messy as I am my wife wishes I went commando.
Hmmm sounds and or may smell fishy lol
Bondo s hard to get off some places
Who is on the floor in that pic not the wife I hope
Yes but they're hidden or very small and not stark white.
You were at a disadvantage from the get go. The best your client could have done with that specimen would have been to throw it back or on the barbeque. It looks like the trout our wildlife division in my state stocks in our lakes and then puts a bounty on the northern pike because they claim the eat them. Even the pike would pass up this meal. I went to school to learn taxidermy and the first fish I completed was a thing of beauty. Until I came across it 10 years later. Take the advice and the criticism from those you encounter along the way and learn from it. It will only make you better. Look at your mount and compare it to those you see here. Baby steps. Eat that elephant one piece at a time.
