    A bibbed mallard is a name similar to a gadwall/mallard being a brewers. A bibbed mallard was created by crossing a swedish black and a mallard. Info direct from Ben Pierce when I send photos to get confirmation. He is one of the best for IDing these.

    George The older I get, the better I was.

    I suspect it's a mallard ponytail. Only because of the head shape. HOWEVER, it could be half a dozen species as a damned mallard will mate a football as long as it stands still.
