Hi all, I'm a beginner and I've been tanning hair-on goat hides with Lutan F and want to try making some hair-off leather. All I found online on dyeing leather referred to vegetable tanned hides, and I was wondering if any of y'all had had success dyeing hides that were tanned with Lutan F. If so, what method do you recommend? Or am I better off leaving them the natural color?
    Thanks.

I’m not saying someone can’t help you here but we’re geared towards taxidermy than leather craft.
I know we use dyes on bear skins for rugs many are alcohol base but there are water base dyes.
