    Hey Guys.
I use Krowtann 2000 to tan everything. My coyotes, raccoons, striped skunks come out totally fine... Always...Always my spotted skunks slip after... It is driving me insane!!

Can anyone tell me what is a good product for tanning spotted skunks?

    Thank you!

I have used Mckenzie ultimate Acid and Mckenzie brush on tan, ever since I started Taxidermy and it is amazing! It is super easy to use, It has great stretch to it and is cheap. they have instructional videos on how to use them. I have used this tan on coyotes, fox, fisher, mink, bobcat, whitetail, lynx and more and have had no problems with any of them.

Tanning isn’t causing your slippage, it’s bacteria. now you have to figure out all the steps prior to the krowtan. Somewhere is the issue. If you explain all your steps from when you get it we might be able to help

Frank is correct. It it is also possible the skin was iffy to begin with and may not be your fault. One of those things you may never know where the root cause was.
