I do a few deer mounts a year for myself and buddies, so i have not had to tackle a project like this yet. I have to fix a main beam that was shot off in between the burr and brow tine. I already have it screwed together and epoxied, witch is surprisingly sturdy. Now i need to fill big gaps with some sort of clay and paint or stain back to natural color. do any of you have recommendations on the best method to do this? type of clay or paint/stain? easy way to add texture to clay near base? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks beam broke.jpg
