Pulled my 2nd skull from maceration and noticed the zigzag joint between the antlers is so clean it’s real loose. You can work the skull open and closed. Will it tighten back up once I get it out of degreasing or will I need to use elmers glue on it before I whiten?

Yep, it's that clean. All the stuff in the joint is gone. Try not to keep wiggling it as it can come apart. After you are done whitening it, let it dry for a bit and then run a little Elmer's White glue into the joint. As it dries, it will tighten up more and the glue will do it's job. You could also put a long Zip tie around it if you are more comfortable in handling it. It must have been a younger animal as, as they get older, those sutures almost solidify.
