    Surprising to me the skin is one of the most forgiving of all the birds I have mounted. Even better than a pheasant. Using the real head is a little work but not bad if you take your time. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the easiest to mount -- I put the crow at 10 and a woodcock at a -63 Ha You have to want to make a hole in a crow. You just look at a woodcock and holes start popping out all over. : )

    I have done 3 crows. One cawing, one perched and one flying. Like you said, they were really easy. I did a toucrow and that turned out good also.

    If you go to Knotts Island, filling the tag will be no problem.

    Alaskan harvest. In the freezer in panty hose for five years. Gonna be hard to complain about bird quality after this order gets done.
